Thursday 19th July:

10.00 am           Kingdom Youth Club, Dunavil, Visit to dventure Trail at Loughall Country Park.

11.00 am           Festival Best Kept Garden Competition. Ornamental Gardens, Normal Gardens. Entry forms from Drumcro Nurseries and Kilkeel Tourist Office. Enter your own garden or nominate a friend or neighbour’s garden. Entries (free) must be made by Tuesday 17th July. Sponsored by Drumcro & Square Deal Nurseries.

11.00 am           Kingdom Youth Club, Dunavil, Beach Party / Nature Trail / Sand Castle competition.

2.30 – 4.30pm  Senior Citizens Tea Dance, Nautilus Centre, Harbour, Kilkeel. Limited numbers. Ticket only with free tickets available from Kilkeel Tourist Office.

Tuesday 24th  July:

10.00 am           Kingdom Youth Club, Dunavil, visit to Exploris, The N.I. Aquarium

2.00 pm            Best Dressed Window Competition - Kilkeel Town Centre.

3.00 pm            Children’s’ Boules Competition (similar to bowls). Mourne Esplanade (Beside football pitch).

6.30 pm            Mourne Local Studies Annual coach tour “The Bogie Trail + more”. Departs Kilkeel Library. Ticket £7 per person includes light supper. 7.30 pm            Junior Camogie An Riocht V Kilcoo, Dunavil.

7.30 – 8.30 pm Talk on Defense Radar including local aspects by local technical author. Kilkeel Community Association premises, Meeting House Lane, Kilkeel. Admission by free ticket available in advance from Kilkeel Tourist Office.

2 - 5 pm            Festival Gala Fete Day, Mourne Esplanade. Farmers Market, Mourne Made Crafts,

                        Emergency Service Display, Vintage Vehicles, Children’s Face Painting, Pony and Trap Rides, Amusements, Car Boot Sale (£5 per car), Competitions for Best Flower Arrangement, Best Cake, and Best Home Made Jam (entry free) in marquee. Times Past Exhibition, Pet Show, Afternoon Tea and Coffee, Ballon Race (buy your ballon in advance £1 each), and much more.

7.30 pm            Fun Fair & Amusements. Mourne Esplanade, Kilkeel.

10.15 pm           Fireworks Extravaganza Mourne Esplanade, Kilkeel courtesy of Newry & Mourne District Council, District Development Department.
